CHALLENGES FACED :
.
Challenges: In India, Health & Nutrition are such topics, on which each individual has their opinion and pre-conceived notions. It sometimes becomes very difficult to break that barrier and convince them. As an individual who strongly believes in evidence based practice, patients referring to Dr.GOOGLE for their diet concerns poses an even bigger challenge. Patients with not so good compliance, poor health status or some underlying disease condition also hampers the outcome and the patients can feel demotivated at times.
As an academician, the most challenging task is to get the work done from your subordinates. She has been quite active when it comes to organising any academic event, but many a times there are road blocks in getting financial assistance/ sponsors for student support.
Opportunities-Dr. Ankita believes in changing every challenge into an opportunity. She tries and gives evidence based advice to my patients/ clients when it comes to diet and nutrition. Also avail every opportunity that comes my way to learn new findings and enrolling in the latest courses to learn more about Nutrition. When it comes to gathering financial assistance for student support she often tries to connect with NGOs and philanthropist to help the students in need.
STRENGTH :
Dr. Ankita says , "My family is my strongest pillar of strength and also my students who’s success keeps me motivated. My ability to keep learning and experiencing new things is also an asset. I am also very proud of my academic achievements and all that I have done till now to bring a change in the lives of so many people".
WEAKNESS :
Ankita further tells , "I am not able to say NO, to anyone for any work assigned to me plus the constant search for perfection in work which leads me in trouble most of the times. For a person, who believes in doing the work herself rather than delegating it to others because the work done by others is not satisfactory to you, one is always burdened with a lot of work ."
FUTURE PLANS :
Relating to her future plans and targets Ankita says ," I plan to start my own Diet Studio, a dedicated place for holistic health care and one of a kind in the City of Taj. I also plan to provide employment to the young minds who are taught by me. Therefore in the next 5 years, I would like to be known as a Nutritionist, Academician and also an Entrepreneur."
Dr. Ankita is definitely a woman of great expertise and inspiration. Kudos to your spirit ?
Keep inspiring young minds.
